Mark Merrell is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over a decade of experience in rural family medicine. Born and raised in Montpelier, Idaho, he has a strong connection to the communities he serves.

Mark earned his Associate of Science degree from Ricks College and later completed a Bachelor’s in Clinical Laboratory Science at Idaho State University. He went on to receive his Master of Physician Assistant Studies while in Colorado.

He began practicing in 2013 in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, where he provided full-scope care in a rural setting. That is the kind of medicine that teaches you to handle whatever comes through the door. Mark speaks Spanish and is skilled in managing a wide range of medical conditions, with a focus on personalized, community-based care.

Mark and his wife have four children and enjoy traveling and experiencing new places together. He is excited to be part of the Ridgeview Family Health team and looks forward to caring for individuals and families in the community.
